If you have completed a minimum of 45 credits within your program you should apply for graduation. Please be sure to consult with an academic advisor to ensure that you are registering for the required courses to complete your program.

Yes. It is necessary to submit your graduation application in order for your degree to be conferred even if you are not planning on participating in the commencement ceremony.

While completing your graduation application you will be asked how you would like your name to appear on your diploma. Please note that the name you provide must be in agreement with the name on your Middlesex College student record.
If you wish to update your name on your Middlesex College student record, request a personal information change.
Diplomas are available approximately 8 weeks after the graduation/degree is conferred. Graduates will be mailed a postcard to their address of record to inform them of diploma pick-up dates. Your diploma will be available on the 1st floor of West Hall at Enrollment Services. Valid photo identification must be presented when picking up a diploma.

August graduation candidates are invited to participate in the May Commencement Ceremony held the following year after their graduation.
Exceptions may be made for August candidates who need no more than two summer courses to complete their program requirements – email graduation@middlesexcc.edu for more information.
