Congratulations Grad! Commencement is the best day of the year. It’s the day when the entire College community – faculty, staff, alumni, and trustees – honors your achievement and celebrates with you this new beginning that we mark at Commencement.
Earning an associate degree or certificate is a major life accomplishment, and you should be proud. We know that you worked hard to arrive at this moment. This milestone also marks fulfillment of a promise from our incredible faculty and staff who have inspired, challenged, and supported you on your journey at Middlesex College.

Nima Sedghi of Piscataway was awarded the Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.
After overcoming serious health complications, the history major is back on track and will be pursuing a bachelor’s at Rutgers University.
Claudio Mir ’96 serves as senior program coordinator for the Collaborative Center for Community Engagement, Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Rutgers University. As Alumnus of the Year, Mir will speak at the College’s 57th Commencement.
The 39-year-old Perth Amboy resident and member of the Middlesex College Class of 2024 will continue her studies at Columbia University in New York City with the goal of becoming a neuropsychologist.
