We know that the traditional college route – fulltime, in-person, during weekdays – is not a viable option for busy students, especially those who have day jobs or are raising young children.
“Once I figured out how to fit and manage everything in a day, I realized how much more I could take on. Being in classes again, now that I’m older, I feel like I can apply everything I’m learning”Jessica Medina ’22, transferred to Rutgers Business School.
Online learning is a great option for motivated students who are good at managing their time. You can participate in weekly online discussions, complete assignments, and take exams at whatever time of day is convenient for you as long as you meet the course deadlines. Some professors will require you to come to campus for an orientation or exam but others may not.
Hybrid courses require attendance on campus for about 50% of the time and about 50% online.
For those who need to fit their education needs around work and family responsibilities, we offer six evening degree programs, in which classes meet after 5 p.m. Adding online courses provides even more flexible options. We also provide support services to assure your success as part of our evening study community.
