Who We Are

The Department of eLearning provides professional activities and support for faculty and students seeking to use the Learning Management System to enhance the teaching and learning process, while providing sound pedagogical theories and best practices associated with online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses.

Is Online Learning For You?

We provide the same course content online as we do our traditional face-to-face courses. That means students should expect to spend the same amount of time on their online course as they would on any other course. For the best outcomes, we encourage good reading, writing, and time management skills.

Features and requirements:

• Courses are offered over the internet for access anytime and anywhere you have a computer with an internet connection.
• Each online course follows a course calendar with due dates for assignments, tests, and quizzes, so you don’t have to worry about being left without guidance from us.
• Ability to download course materials, hold discussions with your professors and classmates, and get the academic support you need through our online learning management system (Canvas).
• You should be comfortable accessing the internet with your web browser, sending and receiving email, working with computer files, and using a word processing program like Microsoft Word.
