ASPIRE Program
Advancing Student Potential, Impact, and Retention for English-Learners (ASPIRE) is a program created to support ESL students with personal/professional development and academic achievement.
The ASPIRE Program
ASPIRE provides support to students during the semesters in the form of one-to-one assistance coordinated directly with the ESL Retention Specialist.
During the summer semester, ASPIRE targets students in financial need and/or eligible for a Pell Grant, based on their FAFSA. These students are eligible to apply for a free summer course, while they participate in the ASPIRE Summer Academy. The Summer Academy is a 5 or 7 week summer program that provides a credit course, structured study/tutoring, workshops, English practice groups, and meals.

Who Should Apply:
- ESL students or students who are English Language Learners (ELL)
- Students who identify as having a financial need and/or eligible for a Pell Grant, based on their FAFSA.

Program Objectives
- To provide support to ESL students who may be struggling academically, socially, or personally throughout the semester.
- To host educational workshops and social opportunities to connect students.
- To meet one-on-one with students and work towards setting and successfully achieving goals.
- To connect students to programs and resources on and off campus, within the Middlesex County community.
- To help students access additional opportunities for growth, learning, and leadership.
