The program is designed for the person who already has a college degree – associate’s, bachelor’s or higher. Fraud examiners, investigators and analysts obtain evidence, take statements, produce reports, and testify to findings regarding resolution of fraud allegations. They may coordinate fraud detection and prevention activities. Graduates may also pursue a career in information security analysis. Employees in this field plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.

Students must demonstrate Algebra I competency before taking courses in the major. Algebra I competency may be verified with a passing score on the College’s placement test or by completing the appropriate class.
